James Patrick a 21-year-old college student was last seen  walking a golden retriever.  his parents say that this is not like him. he would have consist communication with them and now there is no activity seen or heard from him. the police officers don’t know yet what to say about this case other than they hope the 21 year old boy is alive so he can go to Cal State Long Beach with a full paid athletic  scholarship.

when i heard it i got chills down my spine. i just cant believe that a 21 year old might of been killed. i mean sure it happens all the time but u don’t know he reminded me of my older brother.  although this is a sad story there are many other teens and young adults that go missing but you do hear about them because they might not have a full paid scholarship in sports and they are not white or rich. it really sucks to see what our world has come to

9-1-1 Im drunk driving

November 3, 2009 by kvchacon

On October 24 ” A Wisconsin woman called 911 to report a drunk driver. It turned out that she identified the driver as herself.” This is how the conversation goes ”Somebody’s really drunk driving down Granton Road.” The dispatcher tried to determine which way the reported driver was headed and asked Strey ”Okay are you behind them, or…” Strey responded, “No, I am them.”The dispatcher verified, “You am them?”"Yes, I am them,” replied Strey.”Okay, so you want to call and report that you’re driving drunk?” confirmed the dispatcher. “Yes,” Strey answered.he dispatcher then directed Strey to stop driving and pull over. The 911 call has been posted online by WSAW-TV. According to the police report , Strey had blood-shoot eyes and smelled of alcohol. She told the officer,”I called in I’m drunk.”

when i first saw this in the news i was laughing so hard that tears started to come down my face. i thought this was a joke but when i heard that the police officers had arrest her because she was driving over the alcohol limit i was in shock. i mean how many people had you heard about them calling the cops to report themselves driving drunk? not many. why? because they dont want to get a ticket or go to prison. i guess this lady was really over the limit to call the cops on her self. it’s really funny but on the other hand i am glad she did it because her call prevented a huge accident and help people stay alive. although i laughed when i saw it on t.v i thought it was a good topic to write about that way people will see that even if people are drunk they still might have the tendency to car about others that they will call the police and report themselves drunk driving and even go to prison. i give this lady a two thumbs up.

A Football Game Can Be Deadly

November 3, 2009 by kvchacon

On October 30, 2009  three people were shot after a home-coming game in Long Beach. Two boys and a girl. one boy was 18 years old the other one was 20 and the girl was 16. The three victims  were taken to the hospital. Melody Ross the 16-year-old girl was shot to death. “Ross was an innocent bystander and had nothing to do with the altercation that led to the shooting.” said an investigator of the abc 7 news. on the other hand, doctors say they will make it through. the suspect has yet to be caught.

It amazes me how a little argument can lead to a young persons life being taken away in just second. Melody Ross was an innocent bystander wearing a “super girl” custom her mom had made for her. why is there so much hate? i dont believe this is fair. no one life should be taken away by this, or anything besides old age. i really hope they catch the killer and that Ross family gets closure.

Aren’t Police officers or Sheriff here to protect us?

September 19, 2009 by kvchacon

I Just read and article from the Los Angeles Times about how  a  sheriff  with the last name Baca orders a deep examination of a deputy fatally shooting.http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/09/unarmed-man-shot-by-la-deputies-hit-in-back-of-neck-side-of-body.html

This article makes me sick. i mean i understand that the deputy thought that the running man might be arm but did that give him a reason to shoot 3 times? NO. I am not sure about you but the things that the police officers or people with greater authority makes me fear them and wonder if they are really here to serve of kill us. things now a days just doesnt seem right.

Is it always a relative?

September 13, 2009 by kvchacon

I just read an article in the Los Angeles times about how two young Latina girls were found dead after their throats had been slashed on September 2,2009. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/homicidereport/2009/09/sun-valley-edith-gomez-11.html.

In all of this mess the mother seems to be the main suspect. I can’t say it shocks me because it doesn’t. In ever murder case that i read or hear about the main suspect is always the relatives. In this article Antonia Gomez,38 was the mother of these two girl was arrested on suspicion of killing her daughters. they say that she suffers from stress due to lack of money and food. But in my opinion if she did kill her daughters that “stress” gives her no right and she should be given a very several punishment.

My heart and body are shaking right now. I just can’t believe that we live amongst these monsters. who can be so stress or be bad in the head to have the nerve and strength to take away lives, not to mention to little girls’ life. This feels me with anger, sadness but most of all with hate. I am extremely thankful that i have no position on this trial because if i did i would do everything in my power to find the person who did this horrible crime and send them to death road. These people make me sick.
